Building High Performance Teams is one of InnerWork’s signature learning programs – and one of our most easy-to-customize depending on your team’s needs. This highly experiential, module-based program on building effective teams can be configured to the needs of your teams.

  • Unlike purely experiential team building methods, this research-based, modularized program builds tangible team skills and knowledge, and uses your real world challenges as the “application focus” of the team learning process, which creates an immediate ROI. Modules include:

Building the Foundation

  • When teams are forming, several steps ensure a strong team foundation. Custom modules include: Establishing a Team Vision, Mission and Values; Establishing Team Norms & Guidelines; Setting Team Performance Goals; and Clarifying Team Roles.

Maximizing Team Performance

  • Individuals and teams need to use highly effective team behaviors. Participants engage in interactive modules that include: Making Empowered Choices; Taking Accountability; Supporting Others; Acting with Integrity; Practicing Optimism; Building Commitment; Practicing Empathy; Building Team Trust; and more.

Building Team Communication

  • Increasing collaboration through effective team communication is essential too. Communication modules and exercises include: Communicating Openly & Honestly; Acknowledging Others; Coaching Others; Empathic Listening, Resolving Conflict, and more.

Accelerating Team Action & Execution

Effective teams get things done. The program design can use your teams’ real world challenge to engage on modules on Team Action Planning, Conducting Effective Team Meetings, Project Planning, and more.

Your Building High Performance Teams program can also include a pre-program High Performance Team Assessment and/or a qualitative needs assessment to create a customized design for your program that will be targeted to special areas for change and improvement with your team(s).
