Overview
In this exciting competitive team building experience, your teams will engage in a highly creative challenge that will require “hands-on” building under a time pressure.
Small teams will be challenged to construct a simulated Adventure Race Car for one driver, made from a variety of parts and flashy elements. The teams will then race their cars in exciting heats to see which team will be the Race victors in the Winner’s Circle.
- The car building process is highly creative and FUN. Each team will build their unique car from components that include plywood, cardboard, ropes, duct tape, colorful decorating materials, and much more. There is also a very unique car propulsion system each team will need to figure out.
- When it’s time to race, each team and their driver must collaborate to implement their car’s unique “propulsion system”. Winning teams will be aggressive but always in control as their cars careen down the race lanes towards the Finish line. Wow! Bring the cameras!
The team with the best teamwork and the fastest times will be declared the Winners! There could also be recognition for the most stylish car designs – even if the team performance was lagging. Photo opportunities will abound with the Race Teams and their fabulous Ultimate Driving Machines.

- Can include an option for building creative colorful costumes and hats for the driver and members of the Race team
- Teams can be challenged to also develop and “pitch” a creative team presentation using the main themes of the retreat or conference
